Who needs agritainment insurance
Agritainment combines farm operations with seasonal entertainment β pumpkin patches, hayrides, corn mazes, petting zoos, U-pick orchards, and slide-and-bounce attractions. Each attraction class has its own injury profile: hayride falls, animal-contact injuries, corn-maze trip-and-fall, machinery exposure on tractors and wagons. Carriers want a comprehensive schedule of every attraction on the farm, posted rules, and a documented waiver process for each high-risk attraction.
What makes agritainment underwrite differently
- Hayride passenger falls β the dominant injury pattern across most agritainment operations
- Animal-contact injuries from petting zoos β bites, scratches, allergic reactions
- Corn-maze trip-and-fall β uneven ground, low light at evening events
- Tractor and wagon machinery β operator training and PTO-shield compliance
- Multi-attraction venues need each attraction class scheduled separately

State amusement-device registration
Most states regulate amusement devices separately from general business activity. Texas (TDLR), Florida (DACS), California (Cal/OSHA), North Carolina (NCDOL), Pennsylvania, and others require annual inspection, registration, and proof of insurance in a state-specific format. Our policies are written to comply, and we can issue proof-of-insurance documents in the formats most state amusement boards accept.
